Why is Presidential Candidate Ron Paul Drawing so much support on line ?

Some of the FACTS on Presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul:

• He is a pro-life OB/GYN who has personally delivered over 4,000 babies
• He is a veteran of the US Air Force
• He has spent 10 terms over a period of 30 years, in the US House of Representatives
• He has never voted to raise taxes.
• He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
• He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
• He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
• He has never taken a government-paid junket.
• He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
• He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
• He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.
• He voted against the Patriot Act.
• He voted against the Iraq war.

Some will try and say Dr. Paul is weak on national defense, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Dr. Paul voted for going after the people who attacked us on 9/11, and he's the only candidate who keeps asking why we stopped looking for Osama bin Laden and attacked Iraq instead. It should be noted that the head of the CIA's Osama bin Laden task force has endorsed Dr. Paul.

Ronald Reagan once said. "Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country!"

Ron Paul hasn't changed. The Republican Party has changed, and it is not a change for the better.

If you want a candidate who has integrity, a candidate who has a clear record of consistency, and a candidate who cannot be bought by special interests, you want Ron Paul.
